Competition Team Intensive
Description
This five day long intensive is required for any student
who wants to be considered for the 2013-2014 Iowa Ballet
Academy Competition Team. The Pre-teens take class with the
Seniors Monday, Wednesday, Friday and the Juniors Tuesday
and Thursday. Dancers should sign up for the intensive
based on their current level. Dancers who are not currently
in a level should ask for the director's advice on
which level they should take. This gives us the opportunity
to look at different combinations of dancers to see how well
they dance together and how well they can handle different
levels of choreography. Placements will be sent out at the
end of the competition intensive, informing each dancer of
which competition team he or she has been placed on for the
2013-2014 year.
